for the travel organization snp i went to morocco to photograph and film the taragalte festival close to m’hamid. i decided to book a flight to marrakech because i had never been there. i arrived late at night and drove into town. which was kind of troubling because i don’t speak french, i didn’t have enough fuel and my navigation broke down! the traffic was insane, but somehow i found my way to the hotel.

the next morning marrakech was beautiful. i lost myself in the souk and was absolutely stunned by the light, the people and the scenery. after a few days i took off to the desert, a 500km drive over the mountains after which the landscape slowly turns into an endless nothingness.. then the road ends and you’re standing facing the sahara, and somewhere in there is a festival..
